URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

please pray for my friend, Matt Rsenthal's dad, David Rosenthal. he is in CICu at UMC, on a vent. severe infection, which is mainly centered on his mitral valve. drs didnt want to go in before the infection was under control, but the TEE today did NOT look good, so they are going in tomorrow morning.

David has the same surgeon I had, Raplh Paone, who is amazing.

PLEASE PLEASE PRAY!!!!

Bearings...

Lately I cannot seem to find my bearings... I feel a little off kilter, as they say... and I cannot figure out whats wrong with me. Is something even wrong with me?! I ran out of my Effexor a week or so ago... (no money, don't ask :( ) maybe that's it?

All I know is I'm sick of feeling like I'm walking thru a fog and maybe it will clear up eventually and I'll be my nice, normal self again

LAYLA GRACE

I have been following a blog about a precious little girl named Layla Grace for awhile now. NEUROBLASTOMA is what she had been diagnosed with... well yesterday sweet Layla Grace lost her battle. She was in the comfort of her own home, with her family. Mu heart aches for this family. I ask anyone who can, please pray for their hearts.

My Valentine

Brendan and I are saving up for something VERY important. So we agreed not to get each other Valentines gifts. He decided to do something we would both enjoy and needed to do anyway...

He made me breakfast - french toast & sausage YUMMMMY

Lunch - my pick, which was easy. ham & swiss sandwiches on croissants

Dinner - my FAVE meal ever. spinach manicotti & strawberry cake!

We went to church this morning, which was awesome. Came home & just lounged and watched movies ALL day.

I love you Brendan. You made this Valentines Day wonderful, as always :)

4 years ago...

4 years ago today Brendan knocked on my door to pick me up for our first date. I immediately thought "he's so handsome, jackpot!!"

He took me to Fox & Hound for a casual date of pool (and alcohol... lots of alcohol! we were both SO nervous!!)

He let me win... and neither one of us wanted to say goodbye... so we went to IHOP for some breakfast and more conversation. When he finally took me home, he didn't try anything, we impressed me. He gave me a hug and said goodnight.

4 years later, we have been together every day since and married for 2 & a half years.

GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYERS and has blessed me beyond measure. I love you Brendan Cole Massey and look forward to many many many more years together!

TEXAS TECH

I am still sad over Leach... but, we have to face facts, Leach is gone, Tuberville is in.

We are watching the press conference introducing Tommy Tuberville as Tech's new head coach. He is not charismatic like Coach Leach... I am not on the edge of my seat, wondering WHAT the hell might come out of his mouth like Leach (anyone remember "fat little girlfriends"? haha)... but I think I might be able to warm up to this guy. He seems like a nice family man.

We'll see how things are this fall. GO RED RAIDERS!!!
