So we didn't go to the Easter Egg Drop. There was about half of Lubbock there... which is great, except that I am REALLY NOT in to large crowds, especially large crowds of excitable children, running everywhere. AND I would've had to park about 2 miles away... not for me, thanks! Maybe next year, if they continue the tradition...
We did rent a few movies... The Day the Earth Stood Still w/Keanu Reeves - not a bad flick, nice special effects, but it didn't blow me away... kind of like Knowing, good movie, interesting concept.
We also rented TWILIGHT!!! Yesssssssss!!!!! I don't LOVE the movie, like I do the books, but Edward's nice to look at over and over - hehe.
We have How to Lose Friends and Alienate People w/Simon Pegg (who I HEART!) but haven't watched it yet. Right now I am doing a load of laundry and fixing to jump in the shower, because we are going to Saturday church. Uncle Ken is going w/us again - YAY!!
*watched it. It's really good. Makes me LOVE LOVE LOVE Simon :-)
Last night was our good friend, Nick's dad's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STANLEY! We had a great time hanging out w/the Bohn's and the Moohn's. Kids running around like crazy, all hopped up on the Easter sugar. We got to see a video of the insanity that was the egg drop, and it just made me glad we decided not to go. Allison was video taping everything and as the hordes of children (and adults - tsk tsk you people) were shoving their way on to the field you could hear her say "OOOOHHHHH I hope my children are with my family!" She thought she was never going to find them in that crowd. Thankfully Nana and Aunt Kiki had all the kiddos under control - WHEW!
Happy Easter everyone... God Bless
